Frog
Pond

Especially in the rainy season of Costa Rica (May to November) the nocturnal sound of frogs is very common. To preserve the natural presence of frogs in the hotel’s rainforest, and facilitate the observation of this species by our clients, we have built a Frog Pond in one of the nearby streams. To get to the Pond it is better to do it through the paved path. The best time to visit is after 6:00 pm Look around the pond, in the leaf litter, and under the large tree leaves for the Red-Eyed Frog, Glowing Forest Frog, Masked Tree Frog, and Central American bullfrog. It is recommended to wear closed shoes and a flashlight.
